I found Fox at 1.1 after I did some adjustments to my cable run, replaced the splitter with a digital splitter.

I also occasionally receive NBC at 104 but not consistently

Fox 1.1
ABC 104.1
NBC 104.2

Also, the channels you listed as 79.101-79.110 as well as 80.101-80.110 are actually "Comcast On-Demand" stations for me. I live in an apartment complex and I am able to see EVERYTHING others are watching on demand and/or Pay-per-View - Including the newest release movies!.... it is odd to watch sometimes and the movie will fast forward and rewind by itself

104 switches back and forth from ABC to NBC and occasionally Weather Plus...

Seems to me Comcast should be making those channels available full time on separate channels.

However news today about ABC working towards making their TV shows available On Demand for Free will eventually drive me to get a Cable Box I am afraid...

I just purchased an Olevia HDTV with and did the channel search. I got 66 analog and 153 digitial. I fell there are more channels out there. I know I dont get either Fox channel or weather plus in Jax. Is there anything I can do to up the power? Right now its just the cable out of the wall and into the TV. Suggestions?

FOX HD is 1-1 for me as well as other posters. Initially I had a long cable run to my HDTV and I swapped out the old wire for new Good cable from Lowes and I was able to get some additional QAM channels but Comcast having ABC and NBC share one QAM channel for me is the pits...

I used to have DireTV and still have some good quality Coax. I will give that a shot first. Also, I have a Radio Shack cable booster that plugs into the wall and Coax. I will give both a shot.

I think HGTV moved!

Comcast has moved the channels a number of times since I posted this and everytime I try to determine what the current line up is it seems to change...

Sorry,
Bob

Do you mind sharing what Comcast plan you have to get QAM channels? Do you still get locals in HD and the other basic channels in 480i?

I'm considering signing up - I have a QAM tuner for my mac and one for my PC - but of course the Comcast reps have no idea what I'm talking about re: QAM signals, etc.

Jeff,

When I first got my HDTV I was able to get some channels, mostly Local, in HD using the QAM tuner built into the TV but they kept moving...

That is what made me give up and go ahead and pay for the Convertor box, not only do I get a LOT more HD channels but they don't move.. LOL

I have a splitter right before the HDTV and one side goes to the Convertor box then the TV and the other side to my DVD Recorder which also has a QAM tuner but when I want to record something I have to search for the right channel each time...

From what I have gathered it depends on what part of town you are in as to where some channels may be found...

THANKS My mother in law went channel by channel to find this list. I am glad someone posted it online. Has anyone found ESPN-HD? 111.5 isn't coming in HD.

Has anyone located SPEEDTV HD?

Speed TV HD on Comcast digital converter is 450. I do not know if it is available as a QAM channel however as I gave up that whole mess what with Comcast routinely moving QAM channels :(
